Entrepreneurship and Investing This day is
dedicated to teaching the students how to map out a career, from the necessary
components of a curriculum vita to how to be successful during an interview,
as well as to how to improve your skills so as to be promoted. Students are
also introduced to personal investing and retirement planning. The pros and
cons of being an employee versus being self-employed are also explored. Much
focus is also placed on the role of philanthropic organizations and the importance
for members of the community to support such organizations with their time
and financial resources, leading to the conclusion that a healthy community
begins with individuals sharing their time, skills, experience, and other
resources for the benefit of others.
