The Application & Selection Process
LAB only accepts applications from students who are currently completing their sophomore and junior year. The program is not available to current freshman or seniors. Students apply by submitting the three-part application. The 2010 Program Week will be held June 13 - June 19. - Guidance Counselor completes the Evaluation Form to provide class rank and GPA along with rating the applicant on attitude and creativity.
- Applicant's teacher or counselor provides the Letter of Recommendation.
Return the entire application (all three parts) to the LAB office before March 15th. Completed applications are reviewed by the Student Selection Committee. A limited number of applicants will be selected based on academic ability, leadership qualities, civic and community activities, educational/career plans, and counselor recommendation. LAB is a one-week program where students are immersed in activities from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. Sunday through Saturday. For many students LAB week is the first time students experience dorm life. We go to great lengths to insure the safety of the students… - Check in / check out
